thoughts of an aspireing athiest
mirror mirror on by butt, whoes the world's biggest slut?

That dosen't mean anything but It just came to me so i Typed it.

I've been feeling like putting some documentary type posts into the LJ lately. I feel like I havenbt written about what I've been doing since like march, or at least before my birthday. My head is cluttered like my room. ISn't that a great simile? I sometimes want to write songs lyrics like jets to brazil, where it's just this serise of poetic sounding words that kinda cascade across the song and is all poetic sounding and metaphoreish, but I am afraid everything i write would be too literal.
I have been trying to put in more music practice time lately. I can tell I'm getting better, and I'm still getting better enough that if I play for a few hours and focus on learning an arpegio or a specific tag or piece i can see an improvement within the 3 hours, but overall it's hard to see the direct results of practice. But I can keep with it, so that's good. I've mostly been playing mandolin, but i did pick up the banjo for an hour yesterday. Luckily alot of the motor skills kinda things traslate over pretty well.
I decided to learn more MUSE songs, since I had such good results learning INVINCIBLE. (check out this wiki!!!)
ok, Phone call inturrupted me, now its time to go to worki. will write more later.

I'm always thankful you introduced me to Jets To Brazil. They are actually one of my favorite bands these days. Their writing is both poignant and so jam-packed with image provoking phrases that I could listen to practically any one of their songs over and over and still be mesmerized by the lyrics. I think you should give that writing style a shot if you want and not worry about being too obvious or literal.

And you should definitely write more about what you're up to!
