itunes started magically not working.
when i open it it gives me an error that says "The folder "iTunes" cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the "Music" folder."

When I try to install a new version or when I try to remove it from "add/remove programs" it says, "Error 1327.Invalid Drive: G:\"
I dont have a drive G, and I don't think that I ever had anything. oh wait, that's not true. now it magically works.
I think the problem is the removable drives get mapped differently when they are plugged in and there are things like USB drives plugged in before that.

so I got it to work by mounting a USB drive, and then plugging in my 3 partition firewire drive with all the music on it.
that's good.
