anyone who dosen't see tv shows on itunes as an essentially free third distrabution channel that does not directly compete with the other two (tv and DVD) is an idiot. stupid afraid and greedy people!

wow. i just checked that out. i can't believe they're selling the entire 2nd season of lost for $8. i think people will still watch TV and the itunes TV won't effect that, but i can see DVD box sets taking a huge hit. at best buy dvd box sets go anywhere from $50-$110 and that's just insane. if people are smart they'll just buy them off itunes.

unless you dont have a computer and internet readily available to you like most of the nation. Are they not smart for not having those things?

The thing is, the ones on itunes are not even as high resolution as normal TV - so you are getting half quality essentially. and I don't see it impacting DVD sales, because much of the appeal of DVDs are all the extra features and such. It might mean that they actually have to put effort into the DVD features instead of just slapping it together in order for it to sell. but I still think of them as 3 different things.

my high score for the beginner level mindsweeper is 10 seconds. I wonder if someone can do that in like 1-3 seconds. that would be amazing!
